We're over 120 members strong and our numbers grow every year. Interact members volunteer in our schoool, community and in the world. As an Interact member, you'll have the opportunity to volunteer at local soup kitchens, package food and supplies for 3rd world countries, go to an all-expense-paid four day leadership conference, and a whole lot more! To view a list of what we have done of the past two years, click on the "What Interact Does" tab above.
So what are some benefits of being an Interact member? Tons! Interact members get an honors cord at graduation (with 2 years of membership), Interact looks great on college applications, Interact members are recognized with a certificate of membership in the LZ Interact club, may attend the Interact breakfast at the end of the year, make new friends (all over Illinois if you go to leadership conference), make connections with influencial people in the community, and most importantly, that warm fuzzy feeling of feeling of doing something good.
Worldwide
Interact is Rotary Internationals service club for young people ages 14 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting. There are more than 250,000 Interact members worldwide in 10,700 clubs in 109 countries.

When We Meet
The Lake Zurich Interact Club meets every other Tuesday at 7:20 a.m. in the small auditorium. For a list of dates, see our calendar linked to on the left. Interact uses a mass text messaging system and facebook to inform members of meetings. If you are not receiving these messages, please contact us.
Requirements
To be an official Interact member, you will need to complete two basic requirements by the end of the year:
1. Attend 60% or more of our meetings. If you do not attend a minimum of 60% of our meetings you will not become an Interact member.

At the end of the year, members who completed the requirements for the year will be invited to an Interact breakfast and will receive a certificate acknowledging their membership in our club. They may also use Interact on college applications. If you are a senior, you will receive a cord for graduation.
